Browsing the Web has always its risks – your privacy may be easily exposed, thus putting your security at risk. Besides, in certain circumstances, you may find that access to your favorite websites may be restricted for various reasons. iTop VPN offers you a free solution to all of these problems, allowing you to visit any site without giving away any of your personal details or real location.
Unlike most VPN solutions, iTop VPN will not ask you for any username or password when using the service. It’s hard to find a more straightforward VPN solution than this – all you have to do is launch the program and click on the big red button on the main panel of its attractive dark-colored interface, and you’ll find yourself online in a snap.
This free version of the program offers very limited yet useful functionality when compared to the paid version. Basically, all you are allowed to do is connect to a free server and browse the Web at a significantly lower speed. When asking for a VPN connection, iTop VPN will select a free server for you among the 16 servers available, always based on your location and your preferences. The list of more than 1800 country-based servers below is for registered users only, and so are the social, streaming, and gaming servers lists.
Another limitation lies in the amount of data – up to 700 MB per day – and bandwidth offered for free. Thus, despite the not-so-bad connection speed provided by this free version of iTop VPN, that is but one tenth of the top browsing speed offered by any of its commercial plans.
Despite its many limitations, you won’t easily find another free VPN service with a similar level of simplicity and connection speed. If all you need to do is browse the Web anonymously and knowing that all your data are safely protected against prying eyes, iTop VPN is an excellent option to consider.
